Andre Agassi on cover of Vegas

Tennis superstar Andre Agassi insists his famous '80s mullet wasn't a style choice, but rather the symbol of a young man trying to figure himself out.
In a new interview with VEGAS magazine, on shelves now, he talks about his rebellious side as revealed in his recently published memoir, Open.

"My behavior, the way I acted or the way I dressed or the things I said, was so outrageous at times, so bizarre, that people naturally thought I was expressing myself," he tells the magazine. But he says those things were ways of hiding his insecurities. "...I was exploring myself, trying to figure it all out. Which is one of the things I wanted to say with my book: That wasn't me under the mullet. That was someone trying to figure out what 'me' meant."

He goes on to explain: "My early rebellions were attempts to hide, to distract people from my own insecurity. I was scared," The image, he says, "was me trying to keep the game and the people from changing me ... it's a big difference and an important one."

Meanwhile, he suggests that his next book could be a love story. He says of wife Steffi Graf, "She's very private, but she's also very tolerant of my public side. I could write a whole book about her patience and her acceptance and her kindness, her love."

ET discusses Vegas Magazine cover star Usher

Usher proves that what happens in Vegas...doesn't always stay there!
Looking dapper dressed head-to-toe in John Varvatos, the singer celebrated his cover spread on the July/August Men's issue of VEGAS magazine at The Playboy Club at The Palms Casino Resort. He has the honor of being the face of the first ever Men's Issue of VEGAS.

Usher isn't just giving the city face time on a magazine cover. The party was a sort of homecoming for the Grammy winner, who spent several months recording his new album, Monster, at the studio in The Palms Casino Resort.
"[Recording in Vegas] allowed me to open my mind and just be creative and think outside the box" he says, adding that Sin City has officially become his "new home away from home." Watch the video for more!

Morning Call: Newest Vegas magazine cover girl Nancy O’Dell loves Las Vegas

Posted December 30, 2008 • 8:00 a.m.

Radiant Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell has stepped out from the TV cameras to become the newest cover girl for our Vegas magazine -- and she’ll be broadcasting from here during the giant Consumer Electronics Show in two weeks. In the new January issue of our sister publication, the anchorwoman of one of NBC’s most successful entertainment news programs dishes on becoming a new mom, how she juggles her showbiz duties and her love of Sin City!

In her exclusive interview with Humberto Guida, she said: “I love Vegas. I go to Vegas a lot for work. We do a lot of interviews with celebrities on the Strip, or if they’re performing, we cover that. I make sure my husband comes with me so we can do it up, go to a nice dinner, hit a show. That’s where some of the perks of Access Hollywood come in because we can buy tickets at the last minute to most of the shows. We turn it into a great date night.

“I went to Vegas several times with my parents. In those days, there were just a couple of places to go on the Strip. Now the hotels just go forever. The skyline has exploded. It’s amazing. I guess that’s why all the celebrities love to come to Vegas. Maybe we should move the set of Access Hollywood there. I’ll bring that up at the next meeting.”

Nancy explained that family comes first over showbiz assignments.

“My family is my No. 1 priority. I say that to every boss here, and that’s the way it should be for everybody.” The anchorwoman hid her pregnancy on air for three months until she broke the news during an interview with Will Smith! It prompted her to write a book about pregnancy, which has become a bestseller.

“Things that happened to me were not covered in the pregnancy books, so I was taken by surprise. So I decided to write a book for other women -- and, believe it or not, a lot of the information is very helpful to men, too.”

In the cover story and photo layout, Nancy also reveals the “golden touch” for getting celebrities to open up for her exclusives.

“We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and I think celebrities enjoy that. We don’t act like these people are going to change the world or doing brain surgery. It’s not just about feeding their egos. Celebrities come to me for exclusives because they know that although I won’t shy away from the tough questions, they’re going to be presented in a fair way. It’s not going to be twisted or distorted.”

We were in Vegas for less then 24 hours but the Usher concert was so amazing! It was worth it ;). I have a video of his concert coming soon. Just a small taste ;).

Love you all!

Kristen Bell Is Into the Catholic Look

If you thought 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star Kristen Bell was hot in the movie, picture her in a catholic school uniform. Bell tells next month's Vegas magazine she's kept her Catholic high school uniform for the past decade and plans on wearing it on her special day.

"I tucked that away when I was 18," she says. "I'm going to wear it on my wedding night."
Expect to see a Maxim spread with the uniform by the end of the year. Is it just me or is Bell on almost every magazine cover this month?
